    Jerry passed away in his sleep after a stroke and a short stay in the hospital. Born to Virginia and Moritz Wiederhold, Jerry grew up in Lincoln, Mont. before volunteering to join the Army and completing tours in Vietnam. He lived and worked in Alaska briefly and returned to Montana. He enjoyed reloading, coin collecting and traveling to visit his family members across the country.     An open house at the Lincoln Library April 24, designed to gather the first round of information for updates to the Lewis and Clark County Comprehensive Growth Policy, saw only light turnout.     On the morning of April 20, 2024 lifelong resident of Lincoln, Eddie rode out to greener pastures. He passed peacefully at his home in Lincoln where friends and family had been staying with him. Eddie was 88 years young. Eddie was born on May 1, 1935 in Helena, Mont. to Charles "Ed" Edward Grantier Sr. and Pearl Lott Grantier. He was the only son of four Grantier children.
