Letter to the Editor,
Catherine Scott is exactly the person we need to represent House District 80, a diverse part of Montana covering over 2900 square miles.
Serving in the legislature is no easy task. I feel confident that with Catherine having over 26 years of experience in law enforcement and public service, including her current job as an investigator for Montana's Dept. of Justice, that she is up to the task. As she is a skilled investigator as well as a Certified Fraud Examiner, you can bet she knows how to get to the bottom of issues, obtain results, and enforce state and federal laws.
Armed with a master's degree in Public Administration, she's ready to lead our district by tackling complex issues in a forward and honest direction. Catherine will work to preserve and protect our way of life, our values, and our natural resources.
Catherine's education in public health will be advantageous for those in need of health care and this will benefit the state by her involvement in the health care process. She will be an advocate for the Medicaid expansion program and for rural health care programs.
Catherine's background provides a firm understanding of first responders' needs as well as the difficulty that many in the field face in their everyday tasks. Unlike her opponent, Catherine will support the needs of infrastructure and health care for Montanans.
We need to send Catherine Scott to the Legislature in January because Montana's middle class, working and non-working poor, disabled, and the elderly will benefit from her vision for a prosperous future that recognizes and includes their needs and abilities.
