My family and I would like to send a heartfelt Thank You to our wonderful community.
From the cup of coffee and wonderful dinners so we could spend time with our kids, to monetary donations to make sure we had a great Christmas to restock and replace so many things, to help to move, all the laundry that was washed so we had smoke free clothes and offers of homes to stay in; from the Christmas gifts, firewood, cookies, and the help boarding up our house, to the rides to town when two of our vehicles broke down the next week and a changed tire ( when Shane's knee was so bad he couldn't), to cleaning, moving our freezer, furniture and decorating, prayers, and help wrapping Christmas gifts when we only had a couple days to get our shopping done; from the heaters when we were in need, to the prayers, food baskets so our cupboards weren't empty, to the parents that took in this crazy crew and helped deal with this trial in every way, to moving our Christmas tree; twice, moving our phone service; twice, offers of help and so so much more.
A special thank you to the Baptist Church for a place to live.
What a wonderful surprise to walk into this home to find it cleaned, furnished, decorated, stocked with supplies, beds made, special messages throughout the house... we cried.
This will be a Christmas we will remember for the rest of our lives, not because of the fire, but because of all the wonderful, caring, people that touched our lives. Thank you Thank you Thank you!
God Bless You!
