Legion donates to school music dept.

Lincoln American Legion Post 9 presented a donation of $150 to the Lincoln School Music Department Monday afternoon.

Post Adjutant Doug Vulcan said part of the money came from donations raised by the veteran’s organization at their warming hut for spectators and participants during the Race to the Sky start, Feb. 9.

Vulcan said the Legion matched the $38 raised, then kicked in a bit more for the final total.
