Tom Applegate of Helmville carries the American flag and joins (from left ot right) Jim Phennice, Rick Foreman, Doug Vulcan and Rich Paul as the color guard from American Legion Post 9 lead the annual Helmville St. Patrick's Day parade.

A group of kids get an assist as they take part in the parade. Vulcan, Post 9's Adjutant, said the parade was well attended, with a lot of people lining the towns main street and enjoying the dinner hosted at the Copper Queen Saloon.
