Linda Clos

Linda Clos, 68, of Lincoln, Mont. passed away on March 27, 2019.

Born November 18, 1950 in Eau Claire, Wisc., she was the daughter of the late Melbourne and Edith Schneider.

Linda spent most of her life in Great Falls, Mont. This is where she met her husband Howard Clos. Both had moved to Lincoln, in 2006 to enjoy retirement. They had been married for 34 years until Howard passed in 2013. Linda remained in Lincoln and enjoyed coffee with Ann and gang. Linda was also a member of Red Hat Ladies and enjoyed lunches and traveling with the group. She knew a lot of special people she considered friends in Lincoln.

Her son Daren kept her company in Lincoln. The two would share opinions on current events and the latest happenings in the news. They would often take trips together to Helena, Great Falls and Missoula.

In 2014 Linda got to fullfil a lifelong dream of going on an Alaskan Cruise. She went with her daughter Karry and a family friend she considered a daughter, Crystal Bailey. The three would often reminise about the amazing time they had and loved going through photos and video of the trip.

She is survived by her children Daren Clos of Lincoln, Mont. and Karry Clos of Great Falls, Mont .; a grandson Dylan Clos of Great Falls, Mont .; Sisters Saundra Matthews of Billings, Mont., Joey Kiernan of Atlanta, Ga. and Mikel Oleson and husband Bruce of Great Falls, Mont; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both parents, older brother Richard Schneider and husband Howard Clos.

A memorial service will not be held at this time as Linda requested. In lieu of flowers and cards the family just asks you buy a friend a cup of coffee and cherish you moments together.
