Lincoln American Legion Post #9 Update

Another year has passed and the support American Legion, Lincoln Post 9 continues to receive from the community is tremendous.

Thank you for allowing us to serve in so many capacities. This past year we were able to host Memorial Day and Veterans Day Programs. We participated in the Skijoring Event, the Race to the Sky, Lincoln Rodeo Parade, Ovando 4th Of July Parade and the Helmville Saint Patrick's Day Parade. We were able to contribute funds to the Lincoln School Music Department, assist Montana students to attend Boys State and Girls State.

Between now and Memorial Day, we are updating the Fatality Markers/white crosses along the highway from Ovando to Simms. Most importantly we were able to perform Military Funeral Honors for some of our fallen Veterans. We also managed to get the flags hung around town on all but one Federal Holiday (simply because it was just too darn cold to be on the back of the pickup hanging flags.)
