Deputy's Log

May 12-18

Lewis and Clark County Sheriff's Deputies responded to twenty-five Calls for Service in the Lincoln area during the week of May 12 through May 18, 2019.

Five of those Calls for Service were traffic stops and eight of them were civil services performed by deputies in and around Lincoln.

There were no new investigations opened this week or arrest made in the Lincoln area.

Other calls for service deputies handled were one suspicious persons call, one fraud call, two weapons calls, one agency assist call, one citizen assist call, and one animal call. The weapons calls were off of 4x4 Road and reported as someone shooting in the area of the county park. At this time, there has been no reported damage to anyone's property and no injuries. The fraud call for service came in as someone received a fake check in the mail. The caller was advised to destroy the check if they truly believe it to be fraudulent.

I have not talked about the number of medical or fire calls the Lincoln area receives in the past but will start to moving forward. Lincoln Ambulance responded to three medical calls this week and we had no fire emergencies.
