Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received 25 Calls for Service in the Lincoln area during the week of May 26 through June 1. Eight of those Calls for Service were traffic stops performed in and around the Lincoln area by deputies.
Deputies opened four new investigations this week:
Monday, May 27, in the area of Dalton Mountain Road and Herrin Lake Road, a Deputy responded to a possible trespassing complaint. The complainant stated an individual drove through private land and was stuck in the mud. The Deputy later served the individual a notice to appear for trespass to property and they were released on their own recognizance.
Monday, May 27, a Deputy served an arrest warrant in conjunction with the trespass investigation above. The wanted individual was arrested and transported to the Lewis and Clark County Detention Center without further incident.
Wednesday, May 29, around 6:16 p.m., a Deputy took a report of criminal mischief. The complainant reported their car window was broken out the night before in the 100 block of Sleepy Hollow Lane. This investigation is still on-going. Please contact Deputy Tony Galahan if you have any information pertaining to this investigation.
Thursday, May 30, around 1:53 PM, a Deputy took a report of a individual in possession of marijuana in the 800 block of Main Street. The Deputy responded to investigate. After the investigation was complete, the individual was served a notice to appear for possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia. The individual was released on their own recognizance.
Other calls for service in the Lincoln area last week were two 911 hang-up calls, one agency assist, two animal calls, two false business alarm calls, one trespass call where the complainant did not want to pursue charges, and one weapons call. None of the above calls for service generated an investigation.
Lincoln Ambulance responded to one medical call last week.
I conducted a presentation at Lincoln Public Schools in front of the high school student body Wednesday, May 29. The presentation was about laws and safety pertaining to substance abuse, driving, technology, camping, and other summer activities. Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department Chief, Zach Muse, assisted with the presentation.
