Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received thirty-seven Calls for Service in the Lincoln area during the week of July 21 - July 27, 2019.
Eighteen of those Calls for Service were traffic stops performed in and around the Lincoln area by deputies.
No calls for service generated a case report last week.
Other calls for service in the Lincoln area last week were two 911 hang up calls, two non-injury crashes, one lost aircraft (found safe and sound), one animal complaint (cited for nuisance dog), one attempt to locate, one citizen assist call, one Report A Drunk Driver report, one extra patrol request, two false alarm calls, two investigative calls for service, one missing persons, two suspicious calls and one welfare check completed.
Lincoln Ambulance responded to one medical call for service.
There are three county ordinances a dog owner can be issued in Lincoln:
Vaccinations: all dogs 6 months or older must be vaccinated against rabies.
Public Nuisance is defined as any dog that threatens, injures, or damages people or property, livestock, or other pets; an abandoned dog; or BARKING DOG.
Vicious Dogs is defined as any dog that without provocation bites or attempts to bite any person; or that has killed or injured another animal.
