The Blackfoot Valley's News Source Since 1980
Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received eighteen Calls for Service in the Lincoln area during the week of Oct. 6 through Oct. 12, 2019.
Nine of those Calls for Service were traffic stops, one was a civil service, and a VIN inspection performed in and around the Lincoln area by deputies.
One call for service generated a case report last week:
An individual called the Sheriff's Office Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 at approximately 8:15 p.m. to report items were stolen out of their vehicle while it was parked at the gas pumps in the 300 block of Main Street. This investigation is still on-going.
Other calls for service in the Lincoln area were one 911 hang-up, three non-injury crashes, two investigative calls, and one welfare check performed. Lincoln Fire responded to one call for service.
It is the season of thefts and burglaries creeping upon us. If you have any information about the above case please get a hold of Deputy Galahan.
I recently took a report of a burglary at the transfer station, or dump, which I will go into more details about next week. Food, heaters, an air compressor, and a gas can were taken from the dump, among other items. If you have any information leading to evidence in either case please get a hold of myself or Deputy Galahan.
