Deputy's Log : Oct. 20 -Oct. 26

Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received thirteen Calls for Service in the Lincoln area during the week of Oct. 20 through Oct. 26, 2019.

Three of those calls for service were traffic stops performed in and around the Lincoln area by deputies.

No calls for service generated a case report last week.

Other calls for service in the Lincoln area were two 911 hang-ups, one citizen assist, one disorderly person, two extra patrol requests, one fish and game call, one road hazard and one suspicious circumstance.

Lincoln Ambulance responded to one medical call for service.

The snow is flying! This means getting up early to clear snow from our cars, walkways, and drives. Please be courteous this winter of those helpful hands who are out early plowing our roads and public parking lots.

I would also urge people who are traveling this time of year to always have extra warm clothes, gloves, a blanket and first aid items inside their car. The roads are icy and I know from experience, it does not matter how great a driver you are, black ice can ruin your day.

Always be prepared to camp out inside your car in case of a slide off. Try to plan ahead, leaving yourself plenty of time to drive slower and get to your appointments safely.
