Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received twelve calls for service during the week of Feb. 2 through Feb. 8.
Deputies performed four traffic stops and one civil service call in the Lincoln area.
One call for service generated a case report last week:
A deputy responded to a report of found property Saturday, Feb. 8 in the 1900 block of Sculpture Way. The property was a cell phone belonging to an individual passing through Lincoln. The owner has been contacted and notified.
Other calls for service in the Lincoln area last week were one extra patrol request, one hazard and one technical issue.
Lincoln Ambulance responded to one medical call.
Please thank your local fire rescue and ambulance volunteers the next time you see one. Lincoln is very unique to the rest of the county. Our local first responders go above and beyond to ensure deputies are safe and in doing so, ensuring the public is safe. This means staying on scenes longer then they are expected to and putting themselves in harm's way to make sure the job is done safely and correctly.
In other news around Lincoln, I will start teaching the middle school DARE program during the last week of February and I am very excited. Also, the Seasonal Home Extra Patrol Program is going very well. One of the most important parts of the program is that it gives law enforcement knowledge of who to call if something were to happen to your home while you are out of town.
