Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received nine calls for service during the week of Feb. 16 through Feb. 22, 2020.
Deputies performed three traffic stops and one civil service in the Lincoln area.
One call for service generated a case report last week:
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Stemple Pass Road Tuesday, Feb. 18. After concluding their investigation, a male was arrested for Partner Family Member Assault and criminal mischief. The male was transported to the Detention Center in Helena without further incident.
Other calls for service in the Lincoln area last week were one 911 hang-up, two citizen assists, and one family issue.
What is Partner Family Member Assault (PFMA)? A PFMA is Montana's version of a domestic assault. Partner means spouse, former spouses, persons who have a child in common, and persons who have been or are currently in a dating or ongoing intimate relationship. Family member means mothers, fathers, children, brothers, sisters, and other past or present family members of a household. This also includes stepchildren, stepparents, in-laws, and adoptive children and parents. Assault means purposely or knowingly causing bodily injury, negligently causing bodily injury with a weapon, or purposely/ knowingly causing reasonable apprehension of bodily injury.
