The Lincoln community is in for a real treat this week with a visit from Pat Balder and Glen Everhart of SongBlast's Dueling Guitars.
The duo's performance, is scheduled for Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at the Lincoln Community Hall.
Business partners, Balder and Everhart have been performing for more than thirty years, and both studied guitar and voice, and have degrees in music.
In this fun, family friendly event, the pair will play a very broad demographic of music, from young to old. The audience should expect to engage in the performance and be prepared to laugh, sing, clap and if there's room, get up and dance.
"It's a highly interactive show where the audience is the star and through our comedy and rock-and-roll act, we bring communities together." said Balder.
Balder and Everhart have been performing together now for eight years and during this time have performed more than 1000 shows in 33 states, as well as Canada and Mexico.
"We get paid to travel and perform for free, and the best part of our day is being on stage." Balder said.
They are being brought here to perform through a sponsorship from the Lincoln Council for the Arts. This is their third year performing for the Junior League in Great Falls. This year, they are playing a sold-out show for them the night after they come to Lincoln.
Make plans to attend their performance. Tickets are available at the door. $10 for adults, $5 for children or free when they attend with an adult.
