Letter: Hate to lose it

I saw your article in the paper a week or two ago and then got the survey that was mailed in this last issue about the struggle you are having making ends meet with the local paper.

A lot of appreciation always goes unsaid and we go about our  lives and don't think about it. Seems like a lot of things have been going more and more digital in the last 10 years and making it hard for the local papers to survive.

I really appreciate the job you guys do with the paper and look forward every week to getting it in the mail !! It's my "go to" to find out functions going on around town and what "went on" !!

I hardly ever look at your website because I enjoy reading it in print much better. Anytime I need a repair guy or any help it is always the first place I look. I advertise in your paper anytime I am looking for a truck driver and have gotten good results several times !

My personal opinion you could raise your prices in subscriptions and advertising by "at least" 50 percent and I'm sure nobody would have a problem with it. I think the paper is one of the things that keeps the town together and would sure hate to loose it !!
