Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received thirty-five calls for service during the weeks of Dec. 13 to Dec. 26th, 2020 in the Lincoln area and deputies performed three traffic stops.
Six of those calls generated a case report last week:
A deputy took a theft report Dec. 13, regarding exploitation of an elder. This investigation is complete, and charges were submitted to the County Attorney's Office for review.
On Dec. 14, a deputy took a report of privacy in communications. The victim received threatening text from a male suspect. The suspect was served a notice to appear for the above mentioned charge.
A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a male driver for speeding down Main Street Dec. 16. The driver was suspected of DUI after the deputy made contact. Later, the driver was served a notice to appear for DUI and released to a sober individual.
Dec. 18, 2020, a deputy completed an administrative report.
A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a male driver for stop sign violation, Dec. 19. The driver was suspected of driving suspended. The driver was uncooperative and combative. The deputy deployed his taser, affecting an arrest. The driver was charged with three counts of threats and other improper influence in official matters, felony, dangerous drugs- meth, felony and driving suspended, misdemeanor.
A deputy picked up three credit cards left at Lambkins to be returned to their proper owner Dec. 20.
Other calls for service in the Lincoln area last two weeks were three 911 hang-ups, one agency assist, two non-injury crashes, one possible assault, two campground checks, six citizen assist, one false alarm, two road hazards, one investigative call, one possible protection order violation, one technical call, one trespass and two welfare checks.
Lincoln Fire and Lincoln Ambulance responded to one call for service.
