Letter: Thank You for Local Healthcare

I wanted to take a moment to write a word of thanks to our local medical folks at the Purview Clinic here in Lincoln.

After several months of getting the run-around from doctors in Helena and Missoula, I reached out to the team here in Lincoln, hoping they could help me in some way.

They handled things, communicated and were able to get done inside of 24 hours more than any of the "specialists" had been able to help me within six months. I had an appointment there on Thursday, and Friday evening was the first time I'd felt any relief from pain in all of the time I'd been treated elsewhere. I have so much respect for what these folks deal with every day and am so appreciative of all of their efforts in resolving the issues I'm having.

One of the best things about local providers is that they know you, often personally. In this case, for me, it's a little of both. When you get your local folks involved, they can help in ways that other physicians and their offices can't. Why? Because they know you, and they care.

Kristie, Jess, Lanna, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your commitment to our community. Thank you for being my advocate when specialists and their care coordinators didn't offer any help or solutions. Thank you for treating me as a person, not a number, and especially for your hearts and compassion.

Your efforts don't go unnoticed, and I'm so grateful we have you for our medical care here in Lincoln.

Tammy Jordan

Lincoln, MT
