Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received twenty-five calls for service during the week of Feb. 28 to March 6 in the Lincoln area.
Deputies performed seven traffic stops.
Two of those calls for service generated a case report in the last week:
Deputies responded to reports of threats toward another's life March 1 in the 6000 block of W Highway 200. The threats were substantiated and deputies had to act. The incident ended up in a standoff with the suspect inside his home. The suspect fired numerous rounds from inside his home. After negotiation with the Sheriff's Negotiators and a SWAT response, the suspect surrendered peacefully.
A deputy responded to a report of a drunk driver hit and run March 6, in the 600 block of Main St. A deputy caught up to the female driver and investigated for DUI. The driver was arrested and later transported to the Detention Center.
