Lincoln Sportsmen's Club Thank You

The Lincoln Sportsmen’s Club is grateful to all those who supported and attended its banquet on September 23. A sold-out crowd gathered at the Lincoln Community Hall in support of the shooting sports in Lincoln and the surrounding area. It was great to see friends from Lincoln, Ovando, Helmville, Seeley Lake, and other areas enjoying the evening.

Spearheaded by Wendell and Jan Weaver who chaired the banquet committee, the club provided an evening of good fun, great food, and fellowship for Lincoln and others from the Blackfoot Valley communities.

Various raffles and drawings and an excellent meal all led to a rousing auction led by Kevin Ertl. Bidding was fast and competitive with items donated by various individuals as well as businesses, taken home by successful bidders.

As folks left the hall many were heard to say, “This was terrific, we hope you do it again next year.” The club again, thanks all who helped with that success: the Weavers, the committee, the Montanan, the donors for raffles and the auction, and especially all who supported it by attending.
