Dalton Mountain Road Bridge Replacement Open House

Montana Department of Transportation to share bridge replacement details

LINCOLN, MONTANA - The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is hosting a public open house to discuss the proposed bridge replacement on Dalton Mountain Road 3 miles west of Lincoln.

Proposed work includes removal of the existing bridge and constructing a new bridge. The roadway approaches will also be reconstructed to connect to the new structure. The purpose of the project is to replace the deteriorating bridge and maintain safe passage across the river for the traveling public. The project is currently in the design stage.

This open house will be held at the Lincoln Library (102 Ninth Avenue) on Thursday, November 18 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. No formal presentation will be made, and everyone is welcome to stop by anytime between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m.

The virtual event sharing the same information will be held on Zoom on November 19, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Registration is required to gain access information to the meeting. Attendees can expect a slideshow presentation followed by a question and answer session and the opportunity to provide comments. To register to attend, email [email protected] or call 406-449-8627.
