I am so impressed with the dedication and positive attitudes this group of students brought to BPA this year. We not only quadrupled the number of students who participated in our chapters this school year, but now have the opportunity to compete at Nationals for the first time since the chapters' inception. The students who put in the hours on their competitive events and tests are seeing their hard work pay off. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this chapter.

I also want to take a moment to thank all of the community members and businesses who have donated to our chapter. You have helped us register and compete at both the Regional and State levels. Thank you to Dani Barnett, Brenna Copenhaver, Wendi Dietz, Stevie Fehrs, Julie Riddle, Sarah Tams, and Doug and Laurie Richards. Without your support, we would not have pulled off such a successful year of competition, fundraising and travels with all of these students. And a special thanks to my biggest supporter, my husband Marshall Bullis, for all your help and support with BPA!

While in Dallas, participants will also have opportunities to network with other BPA members and industry representatives, visit famous attractions in the region and participate in a walk that raises money for Special Olympics, BPA's national service project.

If you are interested in donating to our local chapters, to help continue growing opportunities for these students, please contact me, Laura Allen-Bullis, BPA advisor, at Lincoln Public Schools at 406-362-4201, or email: [email protected].
