The Blackfoot Valley's News Source Since 1980
seems to be passing very quickly with so many things to still get accomplished.
The Board of directors and some of our members have been working all summer to accomplish several tasks needed done by our club. The last big job was getting Big Mountain Trail open over the top. Working with the Forest Service, the area was open to the public to get many loads of firewood, which was cut and laid on the side of the road. We were able to get enough wood moved to open the trail over the top of Big Mountain. Thank you to the many people who helped get this job done, so we can travel it this snowmobile season. We could not get this done without members and town people that joined it to help!
We have a couple more jobs to do. We will have our monthly meeting, Saturday, Aug. 13. We will meet at 8 a.m. to line things up. We are going to clean up around the outside of the clubhouse and organize a second crew to clean up the inside of the clubhouse. If we get enough people to help, we'd also like to get Lambkins Parks mowed again and get all the finishing touches done.
If you wish, bring weed eaters, rakes shovels or whatever you wish to make this job easier.
Any questions, feel free to call Forest at 406-475-5786.
Thank You and feel free to spread the word.
Forest Mercill, PSW President
