The Lewis and Clark County 911 Center received seventy-three calls for service between March 1 and March 31, 2023, in the Lincoln area. Seven of those calls were traffic stops performed by deputies.
We had four calls for service create case numbers:
Child Protective Services called March 1 to give a cross report with a deputy on a domestic disturbance that was reported to them in the Lincoln area. The investigation is on-going and being handled by the deputy.
Deputies responded to an assault between two females in the 500 block of Main St. March 7. One female was arrested for aggravated assault and taken to the detention center in Helena.
A female called from out of town March 29 to report a cold suspicious circumstance between her and a male she used to live with. The incident has been documented by a deputy’s report.
A deputy responded to a report of a barking dog in the 400 block of C St March 29. This is an ongoing incident that has been documented by video numerous times early in the morning and late at night. The dog owners were served with a notice to appear for public nuisance, a county animal ordinance.
Other calls for service in the Lincoln area were six 911 hang-ups, four agency assists, four roll over crashes, one administrative call, five animal complaints, three citizen assists, two criminal mischief, one domestic type call, one drug report, one false alarm, two family disturbances, one fish and game, one fraud, three road hazards, one property, five suspicious, one civil, one disorderly, one investigative call, two threats, one vin inspection and six welfare checks.
Lincoln Ambulance responded to three medical calls for service.
