Lincoln's 36th Annual Clothing Giveaway 2023: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

Thank you to everyone who donated clothes and to everyone who shopped for clothes.

Thank you to the wonderful volunteers who quickly unboxed and distributed donations to the appropriate tables and hanging racks and who worked throughout the week to monitor, re-fold and organize. Where would we be without you?! Renee Campbell, Sandy Caudill, Linda Dresback, Toni Eckart, Sue Howsmon, Ken and Gwen Nelson, April Ninahuanca, Debbie Rauber, Amanda Robinson, Linda Sorem and Heidi Vulcan.

Special recognition to our student helpers: Remi Dietz, Shayla Gallagher and Jordan Zarske.

Erin and Roger Dey at the Blackfoot Valley Dispatch created and printed the Best Poster Ever! Thank you! And thank you to the business owners for allowing us to display the posters for this popular community event.

A big thank you to Becky and Teresa Garland for the use of their hanging racks, which makes shopping so much easier. And thank you to Bob Frank-Plumlee, Renee Campbell, Debbie Rauber and Dean Yonkovich for getting the racks to and from the Community Hall.

Another big thank you to the drivers who loaded their vehicles with boxes and bags to deliver our remaining items to Helena, Missoula and Great Falls: Renee Campbell, Nancy Frandsen, Debbie Rauber, and Michele Songer.

To all the shoppers who donated cash ... it will be used to support our very unique Lincoln Community Hall. Thank you!

This year, a special treat came from Rick and Pat Freeland who provided dozens and dozens of muffins to share with shoppers. We encouraged shoppers with: "If you fill a bag, you get a free muffin when you leave!"

Again, thank you, supporters, shoppers and volunteers. Congratulations, Lincoln, on another successful Clothing Giveaway, continuing the tradition started by Sylvia Johnson and Jesse Sallin in 1987. Let's keep it going!
