Veteran's pancake breakfast planned

A Veterans "Meet and Greet" Pancake Breakfast is planned for Friday, March 29 at the Lincoln Community Hall.

The get together is sponsored by Lincoln American Legion Post 9 and is open to all Veterans, of all branches, whether they are members of the Legion or not. The breakfast is part of effort to help connect Lincoln's Veterans with one another and to help build a local support network. Lincoln is home to a high number of Veterans and there is a concern that many of them may not have someone locally who can relate to their service and who they can turn to for help in a time of crisis.

The date of the pancake breakfast coincides with Vietnam Veterans Day, and Post 9 will use the occasion to draw the winner of their raffle for a 2022 Kawasaki KLX 140 Off-Highway Bike.
