Obituary: Belinda J. Meeks

Belinda earned her Heavenly wings suddenly Aug. 10, 2024, in Missoula, Mont.

She was born in Chico, Calif. on Jan. 1, 1963, to Harvey and Patricia Walker, who were waiting for her at Heaven's gate to join them.

She grew up in the Chico area until the family moved to Winston, Oregon. Where she attended school and graduated from Douglas High in 1981. She then attended Umpqua Community College, where she met the love of her life Jeffery Meeks.

Shortly after that their family began to grow, including two sons and a daughter. In 1994, they moved to Lincoln, Mont., where their children attended school and graduated from Lincoln High School. The grandchildren started getting added to the family and shortly after they moved to Missoula, Montana. 

Belinda leaves behind her husband of 42 years Jeffery Meeks. Son John and Cassie, their children Jordan, Kristofer and Kendalyn. Son James. Daughter Elizabeth and her children Julian, Jaxson and Lylla. She also leaves behind her older brother and sister Harvey Walker of Kalispell, Montana, and Marsha Brown of Winston, Oregon. As well as her two nephews and their families, Jason Walker and Carmen and their family, Ely Walker and Cinda and their family. Also her sisters-in-laws Dee Clancy and family and Alysen Sylvester her family.

Belinda will be missed by those who knew her. The family will have a celebration of life on Saturday September 21, 2024 at 2 pm at the Community Hall in Lincoln, Montana.
